GEEZ Seminars

I am a proud co-founder and co-organizer of The Graduate Students in Economics of Education Zoom (GEEZ) Seminars. We developed this group and series in May 2020 in response to the Covid-19 pandemic as a way for students studying the economics of education to continue connecting and sharing feedback with each other. The series features student presentations on a wide range of topics in Economics of Education and draws students from around the world. The focus of the group is to provide a supportive platform for students to share their ongoing research. Despite the slow return to in-person conferences and seminars, our audience has only grown, demonstrating the demand for a positive and generative intellectual community in economics of education with low barrier to entry.
